Visit the Voter Registration online tool to check and update your voter information in advance to ensure you're on the Voters List. Residents who have recently turned 18, moved or changed their name might need to update their information to ensure they are on the list.
If you are not on the list, you may not receive your Voter Information Letter.
To be eligible to vote in the municipal election, you must be:

18 years of age or older;
-
a Canadian citizen; and
-
a resident of King Township; or
-
a non-resident who owns or rents property in King Township; or
-
the spouse of an owner or tenant of property in King Township.
If you’re temporarily living outside of Ontario, you may be eligible to add yourself to the Register of Absentee Voters.
If you’re 16 or 17 and reside in Ontario, you can add yourself to the Ontario Register of Future Voters.

Accessible Elections
King Township is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. This includes ensuring that Municipal Elections are accessible to everyone. All voting locations will be accessible, and entrances will be well marked with the universal access symbol and within close proximity of the parking lot.
Vote at Home Program
The Vote at Home Program dates for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election will be available on this page once they are confirmed. Please continue to monitor for important updates in the coming weeks.
What is it?
The Vote at Home Program is for homebound electors who are unable to physically attend a voting place. A Homebound Elector means an elector whose ability to move or function is restricted to the extent that they cannot attend a polling station without significant difficulty or support assistance. For example, they may be bedridden due to illness or injury.
