What Information I Collect

Through this website, sign-up forms, donation processing, and door-to-door canvassing, I may collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Mailing address

 

I only collect the information needed to communicate with you about the campaign or to fulfill a request you've made, such as signing up for updates, volunteering, or making a donation.

How I Use Your Information

I use the personal information I collect to:

  • Send campaign updates, newsletters, and event invitations

  • Respond to questions or requests you've submitted

  • Coordinate volunteer activities

  • Send printed campaign materials by mail, where applicable

  • Process and acknowledge donations, in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996


I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Voters' List Information

If my campaign uses the voters' list provided by the Township of King's Municipal Clerk, I am bound by the acknowledgment I have signed under subsection 23(7) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. This means I:

  • Use the voters' list only for electoral purposes, and never for commercial purposes

  • Am bound by the restrictions set out in subsections 23(7) and 23(8) of the Act

  • Will only share the voters' list with others on my campaign after they have also signed a written acknowledgment agreeing to these same restrictions

How Your Information Is Stored

Your information is stored securely and is only accessible to me and individuals directly supporting the campaign who need it to carry out campaign activities.

Your Choices

You can ask to be removed from campaign communications at any time by contacting me directly, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or replying "stop" to a text message. You can also ask what information I have on file for you, or request that it be corrected or deleted.
