We have had the opportunity to work directly with Gregory over the past several years, both through accessibility mapping initiatives and through accessibility network conferences. This ongoing work is aimed at helping both residents and visitors better understand and navigate accessibility within the community. Our sustained partnership is a direct reflection of Gregory's unwavering commitment to this space.

Gregory brings a rare combination of credibility and hands-on commitment to this work. He holds professional credentials as a Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Professional and has built a career in municipal government grounded in real relationships with the accessibility and inclusion community. What stands out most in working alongside him is that he is a fantastic listener who doesn't stop at good intentions. He follows through until people actually feel the difference. That follow-through has meant expanding inclusive
programming and deepening partnerships with organizations doing this work on the ground.

Our own collaboration has given us a close-up view of this. The work directly supports older adults and persons with disabilities by making sure the spaces they rely on every day are ones they can actually use, not just ones that meet a minimum standard on paper.

In all of our collaborations, Gregory has shown genuine follow through, a sustained commitment to the people he serves, and a real understanding of what it takes to make spaces inclusive in practice, not just in principle. I am confident that his dedication and practical expertise will serve Ward 5 and the broader township exceptionally well.

To the King Township Community,

I am pleased to offer my personal endorsement of Gregory Peri in his candidacy for Ward 5 Councillor in King Township.

As an Accessibility Professional and Manager of Peer Support at Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, much of my work involves understanding the barriers people with disabilities experience in their everyday lives and working with communities and organizations to find practical ways to remove them. Through my interactions with Greg, I have come to know someone who shares that commitment and, importantly, understands that meaningful accessibility begins with listening to the people who are directly affected.

Greg brings valuable professional knowledge to this work as a Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Professional, along with experience working within the municipal environment. What stands out to me is his ability to connect that technical knowledge with the real experiences of people in the community. Accessibility is not simply about complying with a building code or checking a box. It is about whether people can participate in their communities with dignity, independence and choice. Greg understands that distinction.

Municipal councils make decisions every day that influence how people experience their community, from sidewalks, parks and recreation facilities to transportation, housing, public spaces and community services. Having someone at the Council table who understands accessibility and inclusion from the outset can help ensure these considerations are part of good decision-making rather than something addressed after barriers have already been created.

I believe Greg would bring a thoughtful, practical and collaborative perspective to King Township Council. He listens, he values lived experience, and he understands that creating an inclusive community benefits not only people with disabilities, but seniors, families and the community as a whole.

I am pleased to support Gregory Peri for Ward 5 Councillor and believe his knowledge, experience and commitment to inclusion would serve the residents of Ward 5 and King Township well.

As a member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee, I have had the pleasure to work with Gregory for a number of years within his role as Accessibility Advisor. His passion, dedication and accountability for our community are admirable. I appreciate his duty and care in supporting our committee and acting as a bridge to town staff, working strategically to move our projects forward.
